- Add a new entry by clicking the + New button
- Add a date by clicking on the box under the date category
- Start journaling by clicking on the box under the Entry category. (Click “OPEN” on PC)
- Categorize your entry by clicking on the box under “Type” and selecting one of them.
- Notes: For taking notes on whatever topic.
- Daily: Writing about your day or gaining insight about something.
- Gratitude: Write a few bullet notes about what you are grateful for.
- You may see in the top area of the database that there are four views called “All”, “Gratitude Only”, “Notes Only”, and “Daily Only”. For example, if you create a new entry and give it the gratitude type, it will appear in “All” and “Gratitude Only”. This is because each of those views (Not including “All”) has a filter on them that only allows you to see the specific thing while in that view.
- IMPORTANT NOTE: If you change the options in the type section you will have to change the filters for each view if you decide to keep them.
- I have created a template that will be used for every new entry that you make. This template can be changed by finding the blue New button in the top right corner of the database. Then look to the right of it and you will see a drop-down menu. Access this menu and you will see a template called “New Entry” set as the default. If you want to customize a template click the three dots icon and hit edit. If you want to have a completely blank page as the default, make the template titled “Empty” the default template.
- I hope this section has helped you :)
